History

«Alexandra Kiaby» Fashion House has been existing since 2003 and deals with design and creation of pret-a-porter de lux class clothes. The head of the fashion house, its ideological inspirer and the creator of all the collections is the couturier Alexandra Kiaby.

Due to conceptual approach to her collections creation and detailed consideration of each image Alexandra Kiaby is one of the brightest participants of the pret-a-porter week “Defile on Neva” in Saint-Petersburg and the Russian Fashion Week (RFW) in Moscow.

The fashion performances by Alexandra Kiaby attract to the couturier’ shows the business, cultural and civil high-society elite, including widely-known victuallers, bankers, artists, musicians, actors and producers. And a famous Saint-Petersburg theatre and screen actor Semen Furman came out as a model at that collection show in the context of “Defile on Neva”. S.Migitsko, the beloved theater and cinema actor, has introduced the newest collection - Incognito. The event was held this autumn at annual fashion show "Defile na Neve".

In 2006 the International Arts Festival “Master-Class” rewarded Alexandra Kiaby with the “Master” prize in “Fashion Design” nomination, and the collection show «The Shadows» became one of the key events of the solemn closing ceremony of the Festival at Elagin Palace (Saint-Petersburg).

As the fashion critics admit, the designer’ brilliant play with texture and decor, an indivisible and carefully considered image of each collection, an entire spirit performed from ready-made garments and shoes to complete make-up, hair-stile and head-dress, make Alexandra Kiaby belong to the cohort of the couturiers creating not just clothes..
